Tournament Rules

U11 Teams - Super 8
U12-18 Teams - full field
Two – 30 minute halves with a one five minute break
No extra game time

Cards will apply -
Red card: Player awarded a red card will sit out, at a minimum, the next scheduled Jamboree game
Two yellow cards awarded to the same player during the same game will sit out the next scheduled Jamboree game
A Coach asked to leave the field by a Referee – sits out the next scheduled Jamboree game

Competitive pool Points System

3 points awarded for a win
1 point awarded for a tie

In the event that a tiebreaker is required to determine placement:
First:  Who won when playing head to head
Second:  Goals for – Goals against

All Referee decisions stand - No appeals will be entertained

 

 

Field Marshalls

 

There will be a Gordon Head Field Marshall at each site Saturday and Sunday (not on Friday). These people will:

  • be there to assist you with directions
  • record and report the scores to Score Central (Gordon Head Clubhouse - Tyndall Park)
  • have a basic first aid kit on hand, etc.

Field Marshall’s will be easily identified by their YELLOW tops with the words Field Marshall across the back.

Marshalled venues will be as follows:

  • Venue 1 – Beckwith Park (BW1, BW2)
  • Venue 2 – Tyndall Park (DD, LT)
  • Venue 3 – Jamboree Central (LP1, LP2, LPFH1, LPFH2, LPHS)
  • Venue 4 – Cordova Bay
  • Venue 5 – Reynolds School (RS1, RS2)
  • Venue 6 – UVic Turf (UVic 2A, UVic 2B)

 

             

 

Things to Remember

 

 

·         Each player receives one hot dog and water compliments of the Jamboree.  Coupon for the hot dog/drink will be in your team package.  You will be able to redeem them at either the Lambrick Park concession or to the Gordon Head Clubhouse concession (Tyndall Park).  These are not redeemable at any other location.

 

·        Please note - Team packages are available for pick-up from Gordon Head Clubhouse (Tyndall Park). They will be available from 5-9pm on Friday and 7:30am-noon on Saturday. 

·
